Kiwi Chateau     

Embry is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Pas-de-Calais region of France, situated some 10 miles (16 km) east of Montreuil-sur-Mer at the D149 and D108 crossroads:

At the end of 2011 the population was 210, a marked decrease from 1968's 316.

Many houses in the village are second homes, owned by British or Dutch families (not to mention Kiwis!) attracted by the unspoiled scenery and comparatively inexpensive property. The result has been to bring money into the area and many old houses have been preserved by tasteful renovation.
